General Info:
I teach adults English as a Second Language in Alabama. Here at hubpages, I intend to tackle general topics of interest to me, including health and gardening.

Me and Poetry:
I have a degree in English with a concentration in writing and a further concentration in poetry. I have published many poems in journals, some more reputable than others. I'm currently not writing poetry much nor am I seeking publication. I'm doing much more reading of it (hard copies, not on the web).

Web Presence:

Literary: I read poetry and fiction, especially fantasy and classics, and enjoy reviewing books on goodreads.com and librarything.com (both as jppoetryreader). I also have a poetry website: jppoetryreader.weebly.com. I'm on twitter as jppoetryreader where I post lines from poems I've recently read but my activity on there is spotty.

Photographic: I enjoy taking pictures, snapshots mostly, rarely anything spectacular. My camera is a digital cheapy. I am jensees at 365project.org and at shutterfly.com.

Personal Oddities:
Well, I not only write poetry, I read poetry, which is much rarer. I have never owned a television. I prefer quiet--even to music. I hate facebook.
